“WE NOTICED”

“WE NOTICED”

President Obama:

Today I read of your administration ‘ s plan to re-define September 11 th as a National Service Day.

Sir, it’s time we had a talk………

During your campaign, Americans watched as you made mockery of our tradition of standing and crossing your heart when the Pledge of Allegiance was spoken.   You, out of four people on the stage, were the only one not honoring our tradition.

YES, “We noticed.”

During one of your many speeches, Americans heard you say you intended to visit all 57 states.

We all know that Islam, not America , has 57 states.

YES, “We noticed.”

When President Bush leaned over at Ground Zero and gently placed a flower on the memorial, while you nonchalantly tossed your flower onto the pile without leaning over.

YES, “We noticed.”

Every time you apologized to other countries for America ’s position on an issue we have wondered why you don’t share our pride in this great country.   When you have heard foreign leaders berate our country and our beliefs, you have not defended us .   In fact, you insulted the British Crown beyond belief.

YES, “We noticed.”

When your pastor of 20 years, “God-damned America , ” and said that 9/11 was ” America ’s chickens coming home to roost , “ and you denied having heard recriminations of that nature, we wondered how that could be.   You later disassociated yourself  from that church and Pastor Wright because it was politically expedient to do so.  (Since the inauguration, Jeremiah Wright has been your guest at the White House at least six times.)

YES, “We noticed.”

When you announced that you would transform America , we wondered why.  With all her faults, America is the greatest country on earth.   Sir, KEEP THIS IN MIND, “if not for America and the people who built her, you wouldn’t be sitting in the White House now.”   Prior to your election to the highest office in this Country, you were a senator from Illinois and from what we can glean from the records available, not a very remarkable one.

YES, “We noticed.”

All through your campaign and even now, you have surrounded yourself with individuals who are basically unqualified for the positions for which you appointed them.   Worse than that, the majority of them are people who, like you, bear no special allegiance, respect, or affection for this country and her traditions

YES, “We noticed.”

You are 9 months into your term and every morning millions of Americans wake up to a new horror heaped on us by you.  You seek to saddle working Americans with a health care / insurance ”reform” package that, along with cap and trade, will bankrupt this nation.

YES, “We noticed.”

We seek, by protesting, to let our representatives know that we are not in favor of these crippling expenditures and we are labeled “un-American”, “racist”, “mob . ”   We wonder how we are supposed to let you know how frustrated we are.   You have attempted to make our protests seem isolated and insignificant.   Until your inauguration, Americans always had the right to speak out.

YES, “We noticed.”

On September 11, 2001 there were no Republicans or Democrats, only Americans.   And we all grieved together and helped each other in whatever way we could.   The attack on 9/11 was carried out because we are Americans.

And YES, “We noticed.”

There were many of us who prayed that as a black president you could help unite this nation.  In six months you have done more to destroy this nation than the attack on 9/11.   You have failed us.

YES, “We noticed.”

September 11 th is a day of remembrance for all Americans.   You propose to make 9/11 a “National Service Day . ”  While we know that you don’t share our reverence for 9/11, we pray that history will report your proposal as what it is … a disgrace.

YES, “We noticed.”

You have made a mockery of our Constitution and the office that you hold.   You have embarrassed and slighted us in foreign visits and policy.

YES, “We noticed.”

We have noticed all these things.   We will deal with you.   When Americans come together again, it will be to remove you from office.

Take notice.

Internet companies and civil liberties groups were alarmed this spring when a U.S. Senate bill proposed handing the White House the power to disconnect private-sector computers from the Internet.

They’re not much happier about a revised version that aides to Sen. Jay Rockefeller, a West Virginia Democrat, have spent months drafting behind closed doors. CNET News has obtained a copy of the 55-page draft of S.773 (excerpt), which still appears to permit the president to seize temporary control of private-sector networks during a so-called cybersecurity emergency.

The new version would allow the president to “declare a cybersecurity emergency” relating to “non-governmental” computer networks and do what’s necessary to respond to the threat. Other sections of the proposal include a federal certification program for “cybersecurity professionals,” and a requirement that certain computer systems and networks in the private sector be managed by people who have been awarded that license.

“I think the redraft, while improved, remains troubling due to its vagueness,” said Larry Clinton, president of the Internet Security Alliance, which counts representatives of Verizon, Verisign, Nortel, and Carnegie Mellon University on its board. “It is unclear what authority Sen. Rockefeller thinks is necessary over the private sector. Unless this is clarified, we cannot properly analyze, let alone support the bill.”

Representatives of other large Internet and telecommunications companies expressed concerns about the bill in a teleconference with Rockefeller’s aides this week, but were not immediately available for interviews on Thursday.

A spokesman for Rockefeller also declined to comment on the record Thursday, saying that many people were unavailable because of the summer recess. A Senate source familiar with the bill compared the president’s power to take control of portions of the Internet to what President Bush did when grounding all aircraft on Sept. 11, 2001. The source said that one primary concern was the electrical grid, and what would happen if it were attacked from a broadband connection.

When Rockefeller, the chairman of the Senate Commerce committee, and Olympia Snowe (R-Maine) introduced the original bill in April, they claimed it was vital to protect national cybersecurity. “We must protect our critical infrastructure at all costs–from our water to our electricity, to banking, traffic lights and electronic health records,” Rockefeller said.

The Rockefeller proposal plays out against a broader concern in Washington, D.C., about the government’s role in cybersecurity. In May, President Obama acknowledged that the government is “not as prepared” as it should be to respond to disruptions and announced that a new cybersecurity coordinator position would be created inside the White House staff. Three months later, that post remains empty, one top cybersecurity aide has quit, and some wags have begun to wonder why a government that receives failing marks on cybersecurity should be trusted to instruct the private sector what to do.

Rockefeller’s revised legislation seeks to reshuffle the way the federal government addresses the topic. It requires a “cybersecurity workforce plan” from every federal agency, a “dashboard” pilot project, measurements of hiring effectiveness, and the implementation of a “comprehensive national cybersecurity strategy” in six months–even though its mandatory legal review will take a year to complete.

The privacy implications of sweeping changes implemented before the legal review is finished worry Lee Tien, a senior staff attorney with the Electronic Frontier Foundation in San Francisco. “As soon as you’re saying that the federal government is going to be exercising this kind of power over private networks, it’s going to be a really big issue,” he says.

Probably the most controversial language begins in Section 201, which permits the president to “direct the national response to the cyber threat” if necessary for “the national defense and security.” The White House is supposed to engage in “periodic mapping” of private networks deemed to be critical, and those companies “shall share” requested information with the federal government. (“Cyber” is defined as anything having to do with the Internet, telecommunications, computers, or computer networks.)

“The language has changed but it doesn’t contain any real additional limits,” EFF’s Tien says. “It simply switches the more direct and obvious language they had originally to the more ambiguous (version)…The designation of what is a critical infrastructure system or network as far as I can tell has no specific process. There’s no provision for any administrative process or review. That’s where the problems seem to start. And then you have the amorphous powers that go along with it.”

Translation: If your company is deemed “critical,” a new set of regulations kick in involving who you can hire, what information you must disclose, and when the government would exercise control over your computers or network.

The Internet Security Alliance’s Clinton adds that his group is “supportive of increased federal involvement to enhance cyber security, but we believe that the wrong approach, as embodied in this bill as introduced, will be counterproductive both from an national economic and national secuity perspective.”

Update at 3:14 p.m. PDT: I just talked to Jena Longo, deputy communications director for the Senate Commerce committee, on the phone. She sent me e-mail with this statement:

The president of the United States has always had the constitutional authority, and duty, to protect the American people and direct the national response to any emergency that threatens the security and safety of the United States. The Rockefeller-Snowe Cybersecurity bill makes it clear that the president’s authority includes securing our national cyber infrastructure from attack. The section of the bill that addresses this issue, applies specifically to the national response to a severe attack or natural disaster. This particular legislative language is based on longstanding statutory authorities for wartime use of communications networks. To be very clear, the Rockefeller-Snowe bill will not empower a “government shutdown or takeover of the Internet” and any suggestion otherwise is misleading and false. The purpose of this language is to clarify how the president directs the public-private response to a crisis, secure our economy and safeguard our financial networks, protect the American people, their privacy and civil liberties, and coordinate the government’s response.

Unfortunately, I’m still waiting for an on-the-record answer to these four questions that I asked her colleague on Wednesday. I’ll let you know if and when I get a response.

America, FINALLY a Great Nation

From America’s Right, Jeff Shreiber

(FROM: YouTube/CBS) As an American, as a student of our history, as a believer in equality, I am absolutely thrilled that a black man has been elected as president of the United States. Aside from the fact that I do not agree whatsoever with the politics and ideology of that man, we are not that far removed even from Brown v. Board of Education and, for that reason, am happy that America’s freedom is on display. However, one thing that concerns me is a trend I’m beginning to see. About three minutes into the CBS video, Harry Smith sits down with Maya Angelou who, obviously proud of Barack Obama’s election as the 44th president, makes it pretty clear that she is finally proud of her country. This is the same sentiment we heard earlier this year from Michelle Obama, and even from Barack himself in his victory speech on Tuesday night. America is finally what it should be, they say. America will finally be seen as a great nation, they maintain, as if on Monday it was not, as if under John McCain it would not be. This perspective saddens me, it makes me angry, and I’m not so sure what can be done about it.

America, what is happening?

Our founding fathers knew what was needed to establish the foundation that would create the greatest nation on earth.  The founding fathers were passionate about their dedication towards a young America. They put in place the greatest constitution ever to be penned, and America became the greatest nation on earth following the passion they scribed.

The authors of our great constitution knew firsthand the obstacles that plagued the countries of the “old” world and focused on what was good for America when they wrote our constitution. Century old countries had a history of selfish governments that focused on self interests rather than what was right for the people. Knowing this, they created a system of checks and balances that would allow collective growth while protecting against individual interests…until now.

What has happened?

Over time our country has been infiltrated with self interest individuals who seek personal power at the expess of the country as a whole. As time has gone on, individual power spread to create party power; power of the political party became the focus again at the expense of the country as a whole.

We have seen this gradually becoming the norm.  Individuals within the government appear not tobe proud to be an American, but rather they become proud to be of a specific political party.  The days of what is best for America have sunken to the level of what is best for our political party; again at the expense of the American people.

The American people have also be snatched up in this web of selfishness. People now are more concerned with what’s best for the “party” than what might be best for America. Their associations appear more towoards their party affiliation than their association for being American; so much that hatred is now being spewed out of the mouths of many who place “party” over being American.  They have become Democrat or Republican first, American second…at least that is how it appears.

The parties themselves have become small countries within a country. Hatred towards opposing party has become vicious.  The effort to promote their party ideologies have been replaced with effort to destroy the opposing party – at any expense.  Although occurring in both major parties, the mass majority of hatred and destructive effort seems to be greater within the Democratic party, and the American people have been suckered into the war and has lost focus.

People will usually mimic their leaders, good or bad.  When a people become selfish and the leaders play into the selfishness for political gains, America as a whole suffers. Selfish politicians will use smoke screens that will create the appearance of caring government, while using the misguided allegiance as an avenue of power. It is like cancer that feeds upon itself.  Selfish politicians want power so they cater to a selfish person or group. Using smoke screens to create the appearance that they care, they gain popularity of the people or groups. As the group grows, so does the power of the selfish politician/party.

Rather than promote hard work and enthusiasm, let’s give more to those who have not – this creates dependency on government and the party that supports socialism gains in strength and numbers.

And it all sounds so righteous.

And today we are faced with this delema.  Socialism is knocking on our door. Selfishness and the desire for power has taken us to this point. We have an individual whom we know very little about, but know an enormous amount in their personal life – but people are so selfish they only care about “what’s in it for me”.

Individual selfishness, individual power and individual gains have replaced the American Dream.  The dream our forefathers had when they penned the constitution. The dream to make America the greatest nation on earth was achieved but personal interest overcame that achievement, and we are now facing a questionable future.

I am an optimist, but I am very concerned and worried what tomorrow may bring.

Our country is at war!

Our country is at war!

Our country is at war and the enemy is doing whatever it can to sabotage the election and win the election at any cost – even at the demise of the People of the United States of America.

Fraudulent voter registrations is just one powerful avenue they have taken to take control of our government.  What makes matters worse is the so called “early voting” that many states have adopted.  Early voting allows people to vote early and vote often.  Just think about it.  An individual who have registered under many names can realistically vote “daily” in various election centers under various names and addresses.

How will anyone know?

Folks, we need to stop early voting.  We need to throw out all ACORN initiated registrations. We need to understand that we are truly under attack by a socialist group.  This socialist group will do anything to win.

The people who want a fair election cannot win when one of the parties do not honor the law, honor morality and honor the sanctity of our constitution.

President Bush needs to jump in and declare a state of emergency and postpone the elections until the matter of fraudulent voting registrations are resolved.

This is a matter of national security.  The socialist Obama will stop at nothing.

Remember, Obama, all his life has been associated with socialism.  He has associations with people who hate America, who has terrorized America, who are known racists and so on.  All he knows is what his associates have told him.

We do not even know for certain if he is an American citizen, yet we place him on a pedestal as a great man who will change America!

CHANGE America – that is his mantra – and so rightfully so.  Change it into a socialist country where government is huge and controls everything.

think America – think hard…..

Why? We need to ask why!

Why do people turn away from Truth?  Is it because they are too proud to admit that their “Chosen One” is not who he says he is?

PROOF:  http://www,ziggidy.com

Are the people we elect to office too proud and are willing to save face at the expense of the American People; the very people they are supposed to represent?

These people who support Obama are selling America to the enemy in spite of all the proof, all the unanswered questions and all the lies.

We know who McCain is, but who is Obama?

They go after Palin and question her background using a magnifying glass, but have done nothing to question Obama’s laundry list of questions.

America, we need to be careful.  We need to realize if followers of Obama care less about his background, that alone should sound the alarms of great concern!

Think America – think hard!

Do you really, in your hearts, want a man for president that you know nothing about and no one cares?

Obama, DNC Served Yesterday Afternoon

Illinois Sen. Barack Obama was served with papers yesterday connected with the lawsuit filed more than two weeks ago in federal court in Philadelphia questioning his constitutional eligibility for the American presidency. Service was made at his Washington, D.C. Senate office at approximately 1:00 p.m.

From a press release provided by filing attorney Philip Berg and available on his Web site:

Philip J. Berg, Esquire, the Attorney who filed suit against Barack H. Obama challenging Senator Obama’s eligibility to serve as President of the United States, has received confirmation from his Process Service Company that the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and Senator Barack Obama were served today, September 4, 2008, with the legal documents pertaining to Berg vs. Obama, Civil Action No. 08-cv-4083. The DNC was served at 12:00 p.m. and Senator Obama was served at 1:00 p.m. The U.S. Attorney’s Office accepted service on behalf of the Federal Elections Committee (FEC) on or about August 22, 2008.

A telephone call to Obama’s Senate office in Washington, D.C. yielded no official comment, as his staffer maintained that she was “not familiar with any legal action” and, even though I mentioned that service was made in D.C. to that office, it was “probably a campaign-related issue.”

The subsequent call to the senator’s campaign headquarters, however, yielded the same result but in a more entertaining fashion.

“That’s very interesting,” said a campaign official who declined to provide a name and admitted that this was the first he had heard of Berg’s lawsuit. He asked whether anything about the civil action had appeared in the newspapers, and when told that the story had appeared in the Washington Times, he laughed.

“Has the story appeared in the New York Times? How about the Washington Post? Or the Los Angeles Times? The Chicago Tribune?” he asked. “Those are all more trustworthy papers than the Washington Times. When the story appears there, then we might have something to say about it.”

“If Sen. Obama were ineligible to run for president,” he said, “I think we would have heard about it by now.”

Berg, over the phone, mentioned that he has received phone calls and advice from dozens of lawyers across the country, and was currently working on preparing a motion for expedited discovery to be filed before the next conference with Judge Surrick. While he was unable to provide a copy of the affidavit of service–as soon as I get a copy, it will be posted here–he was more than happy to offer his perspective on the predictable response I received from Obama’s senate office and campaign headquarters.

“They know about it,” he said, noting that the story has catapulted across the Internet and radiowaves, citing 7.9 million hits on his Web site and mentioning that he is booked for a pair of radio interviews this evening, and will be sitting with a newspaper photographer for another story to appear in the [Norristown, PA] Times-Herald. “Too many times, a lawsuit can be filed and nobody knows about it. This time, the political people must know for sure.”

“The silence is proving me right,” he said, wondering why no doctor or nurse has come forward to claim the inevitable publicity which would accompany an admission that they were in attendance for the Illinois senator’s birth. “I think it’s an insult to the American public and even more so to his campaign supporters who have worked so hard and donated so much money. All they’re doing is prolonging the agony. If I’m right and they stay quiet, they could sit on it for 60 days, get elected, and the only way out would be impeachment by this do-nothing Congress.”

“What does that do for America?” He asked. “This deserves a comment one way or another.”

Who is this man, Barack Hussein Obama?

admin on August 20th, 2008

It’s a question I have been asking myself and others for many months.

Barack Obama?

Barack Hussein Obama?

Obama is not telling us who he is.

Obama is lying about who he really is!

People of America, wake up and think – think hard!

Obama is for change, great – I too think change is great, but just what changes is he talking about?  What changes will he bring to the table?  Does anyone really know?  Why won’t he tell us the truth?

Here is an individual who has no background.  A “junior” senator who has a very poor voting record and the few times he actually did vote, his voting certainly did not reflect change.

What do we know about Obama and what changes can we expect?

Think!  We do know he went to a racist led church for 20 years and considered his pastor a great man. So called Reverend Wright is a racist who hates the American government and thinks white folk are, in my interpretation – a cancer holding back the progress of blacks.  Thinks American government is responsible for the aids epidemic which was introduced by whites to destroy blacks.  He calls those with Italian heritage, “garlic noses”.  For 20 years Obama went to this church and he claims he did not know about how his pastor felt! Why does he keep trying to hide his past? Think America, think hard!

Think! What is the truth about Obama’s childhood?  Why is there so much “mystery” where he was raised, how he was raised and what faith he studied and practiced?  Obama says one thing, but the facts state he was raised in Indonesia, in the world’s LARGEST Muslim country and was raised as and studied the Muslim faith.  He denies this but the FACTS remain, the facts say otherwise. I do not really believe it matters, but what matters is that he LIES about it.  Why does he continue to lie about his past? Think America, think hard!

Think! Is Barack Hussein Obama an American citizen? Why is there so much noise out there demanding proof, but the demands are falling on deaf ears?  Why is Obama refusing so show proof of his citizenship?  After all, this is a simple way of discrediting many of those who claim otherwise.  He could put a stop to allot of “chatter” simply by producing proof; but he doesn’t.  One must ask the question of what is he hiding, and why?  Think America, think hard!

Think!  People who do not know you, often can know you by who you associate with.  People who hang out with loving, caring and giving people, will often give you the same characteristics.  The same litmus paper has been used to characterize every president, with the most recent being our current president.  Character by association happens everyday, in all cultures, in all economic levels.  We use association as a measurement of character, period.  Certainly a christian would not hang out with gang bangers who steal, rob and kill others.  Likewise, in all arenas, we as individual are close to others who share the same ideas and beliefs, have similar economic backgrounds,  have similar political desires – and list goes on and on.  BUT I ask you why does Obama get a free ride on his associated friends and business partners?   He is associated with racists, terrorists (both here and abroad), criminals and a host of other misfits; BUT people still see him as a person whom they want to lead their country!  What I find most disturbing is that he ONLY disassociates himself from these individual AFTER he has been caught!  Think America, think hard!

Think!  His mentors, whom he has referred to great people in his life – are communists (Marxists) or racists!  I certainly do not want a leader of this country to have mentors that are not truly American and do not believe in the American dream.  Having mentors as Marxists and racists has no place in our system. Think America, think hard!

Think!  What is Obama’s agenda?  What has he told us?  Exactly what will he do if he becomes president of the greatest nation on earth?  Well, if you really do your homework, you will see that every plan he has for us is a form of socialism – another name for communism.  If you really do your homework, you will see that he plans on raising taxes to pay for these socialistic programs.  If you really do your homework, you will see that he wants to put the “world first” when it comes to poverty.  This “world first” idea will cost the average American well over $5000, some estimating over $10,000!  Why?  So he can get the world out of poverty while at the same time putting America, and its dream, into poverty.  This is real folks, do your homework! What about health care?  Does anyone really know what he would like to do?  Has any Obama supporter researched enough to know who pays for his plan?  Think America, think hard!

There is so much more, so much information out there NOT to allow this man to be president.  But why do so many flock to him, calling him the savior?  So many people purposely turn their heads to the truth in favor of change.  They know nothing of the man, nothing of the proposed changes and care nothing of the consequences.

If this man, Barack Hussein Obama, becomes President of the United States of America, it will be a sad day.  It will be all too late.  I promise you will hear in the distant winds, “if I only knew…”.

You can know, you can know before it is too late.  Do your homework and Think America – think hard!
